The Cueva de los Cerebros dive is accessed from a beach of fine white sand (Playa de Abama) that belongs to the most prestigious hotel on the island, the Ritz Carlton Abama. This hotel is located in the municipality of Guía de Isora and is a luxury hotel with different areas and brown buildings all in the same style.
In the southwest part of the island there are many hotels of this type that have facilities that are the envy of hotels in other parts of the world. They have several swimming pools, dream rooms, spectacular views with unique vegetation.
Playa Abama from where we start the dive is one of the smallwhite beaches of the island of Tenerife. You have to leave the car in the car parkand head down on foot until you arrive at the beach.
This dive is for divers with demonstratable experience that are diving with us over a few days.

How is the diving in La Cueva de los Cerebros?
You enter from the right side of the beach and after crossing the breakwater that protects the beach we follow the coastline the right until we reach the cave that is situated in 6 meters of water. The cave system is quite impressive with different forks leading left and right some leading to areas where we can surface. Plenty of crabs, Prawns, Lobster can be found here

- Things to bear in mind: Only for experienced divers.Conditions must be fair and sometimes in the cave the water may appear cloudy where the salt and fresh water from the rocks meet.
