PADI divemaster

Working in the world of diving is a very rewarding way of earning a living but you should never forget that it is a job. Apart from diving you will become a teacher and a role model, You will need to have great customer service skills and be willing to do all the associated jobs within a dive centre.
The first step towards the professional world of diving and for me personally the most important is the PADI divemaster course. In this course you will learn the basics of working in a dive center and prepare for the next course, The PADI open water instructor.

Below you have some information with regards to the course.

Prerequisites

  • Be certified as PADI Advanced open water and PADI Rescue diver
  • Being over 18 years
  • Have 40 registered dives
  • Have the title of EFR primary and secondary care in the last 24 months
  • Have been evaluated by a doctor and be fit for diving in the last 12 months.
  • Have more or less your own dive equipment.* If some of the aforementioned requirements are not met, they can be met at the dive center before the course begins. A 30% discount will be made on all courses or diving packages.* If you need to buy any diving equipment, here at Medanodive we are official sellers of CRESSI and SEAC. A 20% discount will be made on all the diving material.

Requirements when finishing the course

  • Have at least 60 dives.
  • Have the title of EFR primary and secondary care in the last 24 months
  • You have read and agree to the PADI License and Affiliation Agreement.

  • Guide for certified divers

Here at Medanodive we have 3 options for you to take depending on your preferences and circumstance.

Modules

  • Full internship: This module takes between 3 months and 3 and a half months. During this time you will be in the dive center 5 days a week taking part in the different tasks to be done. The cost of the course is € 0, only the material and PADI fees will have to be paid.
  • Internship medium: This module takes between 2 months and 2 and a half months duration. During this time you will be in the dive center for 5 days a week taking part in the different tasks to be done. The cost of the course is € 350 + the material and PADI fees.
  • No internship: This module takes between 1 month and 1 month and a half duration. During this time you will practice in the diving center during 5 days a week taking part in the different tasks to be done. The cost of the course is € 650 + the material and fees of PADI.
